Distressed Leather Love

Next on my wishlist is a bag. A distressed leather that is.
Of all the places that i have researched, I am so sure i'll be lucky if i catch this one around.
Currently selling at Free People are these two that are making me go weak in the knees but for Rs.26,000, I will have to give this one a pass ..

This wishlist is originally inspired by an old picture that i saw in the Sartorialist

Lord Inside #Onloop

Monica Dogra + Randolph together form one of the most successful indie bands in the country, Shaa'ir & Func. With Monica's insanely sensational vocals and Randolph's way with his guitar, they clearly have changed how Indian music is perceived to be.

Having attended this gig at NH7 Pune,2011.. this video has bought memories back to life.

Can't wait for the experience to hit me all over again.

Discovering Delhi-Chandni Chowk

Cramped lanes, array of sounds and smells, exposed wires hanging on poles, cycle rickshaws, noisy shoppers, loud Punjabis. Yes, I had a glimpse of Chandni Chowk.

Gorging on this! Heaven and hell, both at the same time

At the biggest beads shop in the locality, BBC (Bombay Beads Center) 

Over flooding laces. You name it, you will get it. 

Between sourcing and pushing against my deadline, I was on a trip of my own, almost like a child given his first candy. This place is a must-visit!

Accessory Storage-Always a bitch!

I know all you ladies will agree with me on this..
We go out..buy that lust worthy bracelet or that fabulous pair of earnings, bring it back home and keep it safely in that closet. And when the day arrives for that accessory to come out of its closet, we mostly tend to loose it in the clutter of neckpieces, rings, earings etc etc! Heart break of the worst kind.

I have had this heart break more so than often and it was really time to look up to easy accessory storage options.

Especially liked the bangles held up in a bottle. Might just get to doing that already!

Will be on the lookout for more such ideas.

Resort 2013: Just Cavalli-Passage to India

Of the few shows that are out for Resort 2013, I particularly liked Just Cavalli collection. After Stella McCartney's nature inspired mirror flip prints, Cavalli's low priced resort line is a passage to India. With its vibrant saturated prints and neutral segments of the collection, pop stars like MIA & Nicky Minaj are bound to wear these in their videos.

Cocktail

Not that living alone has suddenly made me interested in movies, its just that now i have that extra time for them. Quite excited for this one though. Cocktail starring Saif Ali, Deepika Padukone & Diana Penty. Its great to see Diana the model turning into Diana the Debutante.

And can you believe it, Honey Singh is now gonna be a national rage with his track 'Angrezi Beat' !

After learning the tricks and scanning through Sarojini Nagar and most malls here in Delhi & Gurgaon, it was finally time to indulge in some serious shopping!

Surprisingly this happens to be one of those trips where i didn't find any new accessories. Delhi has Sarojini Nagar for all the clothes you need but it doesn't have a Hill Road, Bandra for your accessories. 

Till i find that heaven, i shall not sleep in peace.
