Change : Chapter 2

For months, when i was cribbing about the changed i seeked in my life, little did i know that it was on its way. Usually the one who tends to get emotionally attached with every little thing that comes my way.. moving out of the comforts of home to Delhi was definitely a bigg change ! *just what i wished for*

So yes, its been 3 weeks since i moved here.. there is no better feeling living alone especially if you have a handful of friends in a new city! Its always a party !

The new girl in town is still stunned by culture shocks. I mean people have rajma chawal at any given time of the day whereas in Mumbai, the mighty vada pav, sev puris, ragda pattice reigns!

Dilli Shilli has is no doubt a very happy city. After they peeps meet with their very loud jhappis and pappis they waddle together to get some chole shole, do some party sharty..c'mon baby, lets dance vance.. you get the drift. The eternal sadist in me will not ever make turn me into this ball of joy that people here are!

There are a list of places that i want to visit! Call me a tourist, but i want to drive around India Gate at 1am *just like in Rang de Basanti*, spend my life savings at Sarojini Nagar, act like a flithy rich bitch at DLF Emporio Mall just to name a few ..

This is just the start of my time here and i bet there shall be more!
Till then..

P.S. Picked this cloth bag from Play Clan, Bandra, Mumbai before leaving for New Delhi. Cheesy no? *tsk tsk*

ZARA

Well, everyone in fashion or otherwise has an opinion of Zara. Some swear by it while others discard it with every collection. For me, I respect the brand and its ability to be so close to season and delivering good style with each of its offering.
During my weekly rounds of surfing through their website, I happen to notice their tab on the corner called Films. *"oh.. this should be interesting", was my initial thought * After watching the films especially 'The Selby', I felt a relief of some sorts, don't know why. So inspiring & such a great addition to their website. Love!

P.S. Zara doesn't have a share/embed option for viewing the movie but the least I can do is copy paste the link. Do check it out !

Also, there is a long list of changes that I have to share in this space. You have no idea how big a shift it is! *pun intended*

Till then...
Hold up those smiles after you watch the short film...

Manish Arora Fall 2012

Manish Arora for his Fall 2012 collection in Paris did street style. For this season he was inspired by the street art & graffiti. While watching the images of the show, it could be clearly seen that the street artists were working up the space behind the ramp and completing an artwork which in the end read "Life is beautiful!" Such a great idea but i pity those who were present at the show because it must have been a hell of a stink !

Intricate workmanship, OTT garments, while lingering on his signature styling made up his fall collection. Although the last set of his looks were much subdued in styling & looks that can be seen from ramp to real for sure !

This guy can sure can give Lady GaGa a run for her money !

Meanwhile..

Everyone I know around me are adopting pups. While I have been howling for one, my dearest parents would rather throw me out than get a puppy in.

Anyhoo, while all you lucky ones who have their most loyal pups next to them, this one's for you !

www.dogasaur.com is a space where you  can read up about all the things you need to know before & after adopting .. and the best part is you get these cool outfits for the little ones !! Dog Fashion can only get better!

This one sure calls for a serious Awww!!

Working on Saturday is like ...

Exactly.
That's how bad it can get.
Bleh!

When love takes over..

Being a sucker for romance, for some odd reason, I have never really celebrated Valentines Day. Somewhere it makes me feel its all make belief ! Love seems fake on this day, but there is a ritual I follow of picking up something unique for myself each year.. A conscious effort to make myself feel good on Valentines ! Don't know why though?

Anyway, so keeping up with this annual pattern, I've picked up a ring with the letter "Love" wielded on.

Purchased from this brand of accessories called Qtonic *currently selling at Lifestyle stores* for a measly Rs.249, it also doubles up as a great present apt for today!

Love does come cheap if you look at the right places !
;)

Spread the love
